Open Studios

“Open Studios” are classes that occur weekly, with no set curriculum structure like our classes and workshops. There is no obligation to come every week so it is a “pay-as-you-go” arrangement.

Open Studio Oil Painting for Adults

with Victoria Pearmain

Every Thursday

$50 per day

Intermediate to Advanced

This is a weekly drop-in oil painting class for Intermediate level
painters. We will be working from still-life setups which I will provide. We will switch to landscape from photographs from time to time. The focus of the class will be doing quick sketch studies for design and composition followed by basic blocking in and painting the still-life.
Each individual has a different color sense and style. I will work with you individually to help you develop your unique style as well as assist with information about materials and techniques. Since this is a drop in class we will work toward developing the ability to work quickly and loosely to produce a finished painting by the end of each session.
As this is a four hour class we usually bring our lunch and break about 12:00.
